A family name, a Colorado farm, and a legacy worth carrying on.
Goode Pickens is named for the Pickens side of our founder Wesley's family, who farmed in another state. We're building this farm to honor them and the generations of Black farmers before us.

When will eggs be available?
Our first flock arrived in August 2026, and young hens start laying a few months after that. List members will be the first to know the date.
Where can I buy them?
At farmers markets along Colorado’s I-25 corridor, through egg subscriptions with pickup at neighborhood drop points, and at Farm Days on the farm. Add your ZIP code when you sign up so we know where to bring them.
What does "pasture-raised" mean here?
Our hens are raised to spend their days outdoors on pasture, foraging on grass, alfalfa and bugs, and to sleep in a secure, heated barn at night. See what research has found about pasture-raised eggs.
